Check any site's Terms of Service rating instantly. No tracking. On its own it only downloads our public rating index once a day; a site's name reaches us only when you open the popup on a site we haven't rated, or click Analyze.

Safari and other browsers

We don't have a Safari extension yet. Safari requires a separate macOS app wrapper, which adds significant complexity for a small audience. We may build one if there's demand.

On any browser, you can still use the site itself at crazytos.com/analyze to check any TOS.

What the extension does

  • Reads the address of the tab you're on, only when you click the icon. Never other tabs, never your history.
  • Checks it against a rating index kept inside the extension (refreshed daily). If the site isn't in it, asks crazytos.com whether that domain has been analyzed.
  • Sends page text only if you choose “Use this page's text” and then click “Analyze”. While the popup is closed, the only request it makes is a daily download of our public rating index, which carries nothing about you or your browsing.
  • No accounts. No ads. No third-party trackers.
